A Tale About a Boy, a Lion and Two Snakes

Time to shower in my diving goggles and swimming cap 😀

I have a five year old nephew. His name is Natson*. You would know about this from my About Page except it ceased to exist after I acquired this new blog-theme. The reason I need to get another blog-theme stat. I digress. Natson is one of my favorite things in this world. I have loved this guy from the get go. This, That and Everything In Between

(Image via google images)

Sometimes I get delusional. I promise I wanted to start this post by writing, “Hi Little Monsters” à la Lady Gaga. Then I remembered I’m not even famous yet. The one thing that acts as a bridge between my otherwise bland life and my celebrity-dom is this blog, and that isn’t going too well. I have been getting a measly twenty hits per day. TWENTY. I think the idea behind Valentine’s Day is really a noble one. It is a day to celebrate love. Continue reading

Books vs Television…

(via google images)

Take a moment and think about a person that you admire greatly–in the role-model-kind-of-way. Now think back and remember what they attribute their success to. Done? Great. Every single role model that I have had including my father have one thing in common, they love books. I love books too 🙂 My father cultivated a reading culture in me when I was very little, I think I was five years old when I read my first book: Treasure Island. But there is a problem… Continue reading

Five Otherwise “Normal” Things That Stupefy Me With Fear x_x

This may be the first post that I have written that will leave me with zero street-cred. Maybe not. But for the sake of your entertainment or consolation, I thought up five things that are deemed to be normal that completely freak me out. No, this is not about creepy crawlies–you know snakes and their relatives? Well, here goes: Continue reading
